Charlie Brown sits in a beanbag chair. Sally asks, "The baseball season is over, and you lost every game . . What are you going to do now?"

Charlie Brown answers, "I'm going to lie here in this beanbag until next spring . ."

Charlie Brown shakes and says, "Then I'll burst forth like a bird from an egg, and face the new world!"

Sally walks away, "After they come to take you away, I'm going to move my things into your room . ."

“Like a phoenix from ashes” would have been a better metaphor. A bird only bursts forth from an egg once.
