Charlie Brown sits in a chair. He looks up from reading a book and says, "Did the mailman come?"<BR><BR> Charlie Brown stands on the front porch step and rubs his chin, saysing, "I hate to look."<BR><BR> Charlie Brown looks at the mailbox and says, "A person like me has to be very careful with valentines."<BR><BR> Charlie Brown cautiously reaches towards the mailbox and says, "A person could be seriously injured when he opens the mailbox and a flood of valentines comes pouring out..."<BR><BR> Charlie Brown flips the mailbox door open and leaps back. he says, "Stand back! Stand back!"<BR><BR> On his knees, Charlie Brown stares at the empty mailbox.<BR><BR> He makes a closer inspection and stares deep into the mailbox.<BR><BR> Charlie Brown sits on the ground, propped up against the mailbox. He says, "And even if you received only one valentine, you could get a bad paper cut when you opened it."<BR><BR>
And someday soon, Sally is bound to run up to Charlie Brown and tell him the mailbox is full of valentines for him, then run away yelling “April fool!” when he checks the mailbox.
