    It is the fact that it makes Linus happy that really bothers her.

    I can identify with Linus particularly at that age. I was a serious child who sometimes did odd things. I’ve also had my cynical stage (Lucy), woe-is-me stage (Charlie) and am currently in my Snoopy stage (still delusional, but I don’t care).

    Well I think Linus is loving and affectionate.

    Unlike his Miss-Lemon-For-A-Face sister!

    I love re-living my childhood through these strips. I’m glad they kept them running as “classics”. I had hoped Charles Schulz’s last strip would have had Charlie Brown actually connecting with that football that Lucy was holding – but alas, it was not the case.

    In my mind, that would have been the ultimate, satisfying farewell.

    @Snoopy_Fan

    Thank you so much for your lovely comment on Monday! I even began to blush a little…-I really enjoyed the “Wheel of Fortune” story arc on Pearls Before Swine. If any strip in the world had Andy Capp as a guest character then it would have my full attention whether I knew the strip well or not.-Have you heard this song before? It makes my eyes water a bit:

    Are you an emotional person or do you not show your emotions? Sorry for the weird question. I’m a bit of both. I get emotional but I try not to show my emotions in front of people.-I hope you have a wonderful weekend and hopefully you can relax this time. I’ve missed you.

    xxx
