Just put your glove down a few feet behind you. They seem to be hitting the ball to the exact same place repeatedly.

This reminds me of another strip where Charlie Brown yelled at Snoopy for striking out (“You didn’t even swing. That’s going to cost you half your supper tonight!”), then relented after Snoopy started crying.
