Hello. I meant to post this yesterday but the site was down.
Thank you for understanding about the retirement thing. I might have known you would have had a similar thing in place because you are old after all! Haha!
The big horse racing event we have here is called “The Grand National” We had ours on 8th April but I don’t really follow it but as I’m sure you are aware, I love horses. I went to see the horses near me last week but they are not there. They usually go to a much bigger field in the summer. Just thought I’d check anyway.
To end my week’s holiday from work, I got the train to one of my local cities and spent a couple of hours at this indoor market and bought a lovely sequin top with butterflies on. It was £10. I’m not much of a spender/shopper and I spent the majority of my time there just walking around. I didn’t even get lost despite it being a very large place. Great day out. One of the reasons I went to the city was because of the train ride there and back. How sad is that? Haha. But obviously it wasn’t the ONLY reason I went, I just fancied a wander around a different location. It’s not like I have many opportunities now that I’m working.
Afterwards, I had my hair trimmed and plaited at the hairdressers. It’s another “Skull Plait” if you remember I posted a pic of one.
Sorry if this was boring. I really should have a word limit.
