I remember reading this back in the day, when it was first in the newspapers… I don’t remember the sequence going on so long. I guess I missed a lot of them where she bunked with Snoopy.
I’ve been wondering this for a few years….I’ve read Peanuts since before college (1965)….over the decades there have been some I recall…but the last 5 years or so…its as if its a brand new strip to me……if its my memory (I’m 73)…then its the only place my memory is failing……anyway…I’m enjoying (still) the ‘new’ old adventures of Peanuts!

See how calm PP is…as opposed to Lucy who would be yelling and screaming about dog germs!

Back in the day was not an on screen kiss meant to symbolize something more?

May be the best thing to happen to Peppermint Patty staying in the ‘guest cottage’.

Leave it to Snoopy to give his guest a good night kiss!

No, I think he really means ‘insure’ for to insure protects one and on a dark night you never know what might go bump in the dark.
