Were Tee-Ball leagues already established in the mid to late ’70s? I played Little League when I was 8 to 12 years old from 1973 to 1977 but I do not remember Tee-Ball leagues. My first couple of years was in the “minor” leagues for those up to 11 years old, though most kids 11 and 12 were in the “major” league. I guess Tee Ball would have been for those kids from 4 or 5 to about 7…… In the ’80s I remember a girl I know kind of bragging how her baby brother was the “pitcher” on his ball team which at first made me think he was one of the better players until her friend pointed out that he was in a Tee Ball league and that the pitcher on those teams were kind of like what being the right fielder was in the little league teams I remember, where some of the less talented kids were slotted as everyone played at least 3 innings, no permanent bench warmers.

There is my favorite Little Guy. Does anyone remember his voice from tv? Adorable. I’ll try to find it.

Gonna need a smaller bat. And hey it’s Milo! The group is coming together.

Surely they have smaller equipment for younger children. Or are their parents just not interested?

Walk softly, and carry a big stick.

It’s good to see that Charlie Brown has at least temporarily forgotten his problems.

Milo… or mini-Franklin…

Milo might need to find a bat that’s more his size.

Cheer him on until he’s able to lift the bat himself.

Perhaps Wiffle Ball would work better for this lot.

Milo might be Franklin’s little brother.

Maybe he should have a bat made from balsa wood

For now, Milo may have to forget about the swing and work on his bunt.

It’s Milo, “The Black Kid That Time Forgot!”
Why did Franklin get all the publicity?

Maybe Milo should use a hallow bat as a certain Chicago Cub was supposed to use.
