Pearls Before Swine by Stephan Pastis for February 20, 2012
Transcript:
Zebra: Gosh, son, I feel like we have so much time to make up for... what would you like to do, play baseball, go to the movies, travel? Little Zebra: Play video games. Zebra: Well, that's great... and what about after? Little Zebra: Play more video games. Zebra: Well, maybe in your twenties we can spend more time together. Little Zebra: I love you, Dad, but let's talk less.

But now that we have remote control drones in the military, it turns out this is just army training in the guise of playing a game. Military intelligence indeed!

I don’t think five zeeba years are the same as five hoomin years.

What? Zeeba Neighba has full custody already?! Well, if he does, he must start to exercise discipline, starting right now…. Limit the video games!

Plaid’s zeeba mama did NOT set a good example, I guess. Good thing Zebra stepped in…I think.

Maybe Croc is not such a bad dad after all.

I don’t see Zebra being a one night stand kind of guy. I bet this kid will turn out to be some other zebras, considering all zebras have horizontal stripes like him. :)

Kids today by age 5 handle the Internet all on their own. They grow up with it, it’s no mystery to them.

My absolute favorite of all comic strips . I hated it when my paper dropped it.

So lovely and so disgusting and appropriate. Pastis rules, and Rat’s the bent moralist, but Guard Duck has my heart and calls the shots.
And Zeeba’s offspring learning drone flying is the CHECK to the Crocs. Check it out. One day Zeeba won’t have to run so much just because he has a US passport…Remember when the motto about dealing with numbnutty jihadists was “Drain the swamp”?
Sorry guys. I really LIKE this strip.
