I LIKE Aussie Santa. I’ll leave a can of Fosters and a barbie full of shrimp out for him tonight.

Is this the reverse psychology way of breaking into the Australian newspaper market? They’ll take it as good-natured kidding, right? It couldn’t possibly boomerang.

I don’t see Aussie Santa’s toy sack anywhere. I hope he didn’t pull that train out of his……..briefs.

Aussie Santa! Twice as fresh as the Northern variety, sassy, youthful, and eminently practical! Is this what a summer Santa should be, or not?

Aussie Santa’s way may not be safe, but I imagine it’s a lot of fun—unless you’re the one he’s hitting with the stuff.

Pretty funny, albeit a tad stupid – being as I am Australian and living in Sydney. As a lifetime reader of Get Fuzzy and a Pearls reader for a mere year or so, I think it’s pretty brilliant most of the time. I liked the oreos and polar bear theme even thought a bit sad. I also read Rose is Rose, because it is uncomplicated and life is complicated enough. Merry Christmas Pearls readers.

We always left Santa a beer and ham sandwich. Mom said he gets tired of cookies. The beer and sandwich was always gone in the morning.

I spent the Christmas holidays (seven days) of 1987 in Perth Australia courtesy of the United States Navy. I was the guest at the home of the Senior Perth Police liaison Officer to the USS Carl Vinson’s Shore Patrol. It was a great experience and fun time. Probably better than the Pearls guys are having with that Aussie Santa.

Thank you for the elaboration. However, Japan doesn’t have prawns, only ebi. So, I used ebi.
