Surely goat was subconsciously trying to sabotage the date. Although he could have had onion. That would have worked as well…

Poppy seed bagels are good but potentially dangerous. And not for a first impression either.

I’m not so sure about the idea of Goat going on a date. To quote Wikipedia: “A buck in rut will display flehmen lip curling and will urinate on his forelegs and face. Sebaceous scent glands at the base of the horns add to the male goat’s odor, which is important to make him attractive to the female. Some does will not mate with a buck which has been descented.” Goats are generally very nice animals, but a billy goat “on a date” is just unbelievably rude and rank. And sure as heck they don’t dress up in a suit and tie.

The green suit may have started the downward spiral before the poppy seeds.

Uhh, just when did this “date” start, Goat? I mean, you’re taking her to breakfast?! I suspect you made your “first impression,” for better or for worse, long before the poppy seed bagel (vile thing that it is)….
