So Rat gets an “F+” for effort.

I send e-cards, some sing and you can personalize them.

Maybe it was a “Wild Thang”? Rat probably sent it postage due.

Must have gotten that from a Mad Libs book…Pastis should have had “giver” as a blank as well [“Giver”/“Vague Acquiantance”/“Easily Manipulated Pawn”]…

I once sent a thank you to my grandmother as follows:“Dear Grandma,Thank you for the assorted stuff. . .”Fortunately, she had (and still has) a good sense of humor. My mom wasn’t too happy when she found out. Good times, good times.

I once got a thing my aunt gave me that I didn’t know what it was.

At least that’s more than I ever get from my nieces and nephews.

Maybe I could order a box of those. People might think I have a sense of humor. But first they’d have to give me things.

Lousy as it is, Rat’s note is better than one gets from most people these days! Rejoice in small blessings, Pig and Goat….
