WWB? Walking While Black? I am not surprised.

I’m a 75 year old fat, straight, White guy. Having lived most of my life in the East Bay—Oakland native—I’ve known enough Black people to know this stuff is a fact of life. The racism I learned about when I was a kid went semi-underground after the slightly more than token gains of the civil rights movement. Things are worse now after the guy with the weird makeup and funny hair rolled back the rock. Having grown up in a household where the civil rights movement was a matter of prime importance I’m very disappointed that things have improved so little. I wanted my old age to be better. I’m sure there are more than a few people who are more disappointed than I am.

i am also an ‘over 70’ old white guy….and i believe the only way this will change is if we all VOTE…. help get everyone you know to register and commit to VOTE… help people get to the poles or help them sign up for mail in voting… get young people of every color to realize the only way to get us ‘old white guys’ out of holding all the power is to vote…VOTE….. old white guys want to keep all the power so they are making it hard to vote… don’t let the mcconnells, rand pauls, ted cruzzs and pu$$y grabbers take your rights away… VOTE !
