Phoebe and Her Unicorn by Dana Simpson for March 12, 2014
March 11, 2014
March 13, 2014
Transcript:
Phoebe: After everything I've been though with Dakota, she still insults me whenever her friends are around.
Marigold: Let us consult someone who knows Dakota well.
Todd: BLAART.
Marigold: I will have to translate.
Any one remember the Washington personality who said “If you can’t say something nice about someone sit next to me?” Alice Roosevelt Longsworth springs to mind but I’m not too sure if that is correct.
Having been both an insider and an outsider of girl groups I can’t say how much I admire Phoebe’s handling of this. Her self-confidence without the currently popular aggression to go along with it is wonderful. And Marigold’s cool, “We need to consult…” puts the whole thing in the perspective it deserves.

I like how the stump makes him look like Yoda. I hope Dakota won’t be mad if he sells her out. Give him a sock he’ll spill.

Love the expression on the goblin-I believe the interpretation should be “Can I dish on Dakota? Sit right down next to me honey!”
