    Reminds me of the C&H conversation where Hobbes tells Calvin animals have different words describe smells. Wet leaves smell snipped whereas as Calvin smells (in a joking manner) terrible.

    Exactly! Octarine is a pure magic color. Blurple is a color of mere non-magical feathery creatures.

    Bicycle companies do strange colour names. One was “Purpleen” (purple from one angle, green from another). I had my wife in hysterics telling her (with Irish accent) about my daughter Purpleen, and singing “I’ll Take You Home Again, Purpleen”.

    Blurple = Blue + Purple…And all this time, I’ve been calling it “Indigo”. I rather like Indigo.
