Marigold: Do you wish to be invisible?
Phoebe: I didn't, until you suggested it.
Marigold: I did not suggest it.
Phoebe: Someone suggested it. Maybe it was an invisible person!
Marigold: Now you are just fixating.
I love Douglas Adams’ take on invisibility:.Scientists discovered that the actual technology to make anything invisible was so incredibly complex and costly that 99.9999999% of the time it was better to just remove the item and do without it..Then they invented the SEP field – it is kinda similar to Marigold’s Shield of Boringness. Anything inside the SEP field becomes Somebody Else’s Problem and so no one notices it.
