Phoebe: Do unicorns lie? Marigold: Sometimes. Observe! I am NOT the loveliest thing in the forest today. Phoebe: You might be right, actually. Do you see that bird over there? Marigold: I shall not reward your dishonesty by looking.
All this talk about lies reminds me of the Phineas and Ferb episode “Let’s Bounce,” where Dr. Doofenshmirtz makes everybody tell the truth when he realizes that “lies are the glue that holds society together.”
