One of the best friendships I witnessed were two guys who could spend all afternoon just reading books in the same room without chatting a lot. They would occasionally say something to each other, and they would take a break to have a meal together and chat but otherwise they were comfortable in their silence.

NO! NO! NO! Today’s technology has turned us into a society of rude self-centered individualists. Interaction with a friend is so much more than sitting together using your cell phones together.

Let’s see here. Unusual hobbies/interests. Has a problem with eye contact. Has very few friends. Seems very intelligent. Is Max on the spectrum?
