My cat knows (from when he was a teeny tiny kitten) that knitting is “Mommy’s toy” and that he has to go find his own twist tie or other toy for me to toss in between rows! Only once in a while the natural urge strikes and the yarn is “attacked.” On the other hand, I’m really diligent about not leaving my knitting “exposed.” He has me trained, too. Right now he’s getting into mischief which means it’s time to go get him some breakfast.
