My pies are always round, I hate the Sicilian kind.

We all know that pie are squared.

I have never liked raisin pie. However, other than that, I like most pies. I used to have a recipe for a triple chocolate pie that had a chocolate meringue crust, then two different types of filling but I lost it many years ago and have never been able to recreate it.

I never met a pie I didn’t like either, my mother made the best pies, all shapes!

My mom used to call me a “pie face” ’cause I loved pies so much. Favorite? Single-crusted blueberry pie w/whipped cream!

Bullnettle. When the part between the lobes turn white, use tongs to harvest the pods. Put them in nesting cans and leave in the sun until the popping (as in popcorn) stops. Take the meat out of the hulls as with sunflower seeds. Use a standard pecan pie recipe. Bullnettle seeds taste between peanuts and sunflower seeds.
