    Two things:

One: At least now the chicken will be clean!

Two: I think somebody owes someone an apology…

Bears called it yesterday… congratulations, Bears!

I’m thinking this whole search has been on “comics time” … meaning the last few days have taken only maybe an hour of “Earth time…”So she cooked the chicken “last night”….but that still means it’s still been out of the fridge at least 12 hours…another 12 and it would be reeking. Even if the smell wasn’t yet bad enough to lead her to it…..I hope she doesn’t think they should now eat it.

Oh boy! I can recommend an outstanding retirement home for the Pickles. Roscoe and Muffin welcome, too.

PSA. .Never eat chicken that has been left out of the fridge, cooked or not, for more than 2 hours. You could get very sick.

Most likely enough bacteria in that bird by now to put a dozen people in the E.R., or morgue.

We used to keep live baby chics under the wood stove and a pet goat in his own room. Somehow we lost that down to earth humility!

I discovered that I never found things until I had spent so much time searching, and I blamed somebody else for taking them. Then they turned up. I’ve skipped all the searching now, and just jump immediately to blaming somebody else, and my total time spent looking has gone way down. Note that the chicken didn’t reappear until Earl blamed Roscoe.

I’m suprised no one’s brought up the “cooking in the dishwasher” aspect. Yes it’s a real thing.Fish does great that way…..http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/lifestyle/2013/12/does-dishwasher-cooking-really-work/

I would never have thought to look for the chicken in the dishwasher. Guess i owe earl an apology because i also accused him of eating it as a midnight snack.

Maybe she tried cooking it with a full cycle of dishwashing. And then forgot.

Opal will probably want to throw it out. Earl will dig it out and share it with Roscoe.

The side ad for me today was Harris Tweeter with a large picture of a turkey. Amazingly on target for a change and actually pretty funny.

rphbeta, I WILL INDEED THANK SAINT ANTHONY! Catholic here, I have lost or misplaced SOME very IMPORTANT things over the years. I have asked SAINT ANTHONY for help, he is the patron Saint of lost articles and lost souls. He is GOD’S Intermediary. Found a LOT of stuff I thought I lost.
