OK everyone. Be honest. When was the last time you stood up like Earl when they play the National Anthem on TV before a ball game???

I’m gonna hate myself later, but here goes:

In my opinion, today’s vocal renditions of the national anthem, many gospel songs, and Christmas Carols have become totally disgusting. Even selections from the Messiah have been re-scored to sound like yodeling. There’s nothing inspiring about that!

Early LDBC report: so far, haven’t heard the Little Drummer Boy this year. In fact, I haven’t heard any Christmas carols yet but that will almost certainly change before Monday morning.

I wonder if Grandma is playing a prank on Grandpa. Check under the pillow, Earl.

All I hear is my tinnitus

Wow! That explains the choirs I hear while on long car trips or flights!

I have been problems with my aids ( Hearing aids ) Grrr…I can’t wait to get new ones I hope ..

I have what Earl has. I didn’t know that it had a name or that anyone else has it. I know that it can almost drive me crazy, especially if I have to get up in the middle of the night and can’t get to sleep because of the music.

This year I heard Christmas carols before Halloween… Next year they will probably start before The 4th of July.

I’ve thought several times I was coming down with tinnitus. So far it’s always been a forgotten YouTube video playing through the earphones in my pocket!

Why on Earth would you stand up for the national anthem in your own living room? How indoctrinated do you need to be? And I’m ex-mil.
