It still sorta smarts when they apply the senior discount without even asking, though.

I started going gray in my 20’s and my beard is now almost completely white. I was offered a senior citizen discount two years ago at age 40 by a clerk four years older than I.

So… is it an age, or a speed limit?

I’ve been given the senior discount despite only being in my 40s (and I only have a few stray gray hairs/whiskers). I finally decided the young people working these days think “senior” means anyone older than a junior in high school.

I resemble that remark. Besides, the store clerk probably IS a junior in high school. And our local grocery gives a senior discount, so you can get socks. (Raspberry)

    Hey, I ain’t proud! LOL!

The Senior Discount doesn’t usually amount to much anyway! But I’ll take it!

For one thing, those DP parking spaces are required by law. But, I find that most people using them at Home Depot are usually getting things like caulk, nails, paint, or trying to hire contractors for the work they normally cannot do.

If you’ve got it, flaunt it.
