Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
A pay phone was mentioned as a plot point in last night’s “NCIS” but they didn’t show it. I think some things on that show are just plain made up.
There are still pay phones here in Richmond. A couple of weeks ago I saw a guy pull up and use the one at the Exxon station about a mile and a half from my home. And a few days before that, saw one at the Shell station across the street. And if I’m not mistaken, I think they still have them in the airport terminal.
They still have a few pay phones here in AR but I couldn’t tell you what they cost anymore! You’d probably be better off buying a pay as you go phone anyway!
DavidGBA: Was it really necessary to post the exact same thing 5 times?!?!?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I know these phone “booths” are different but I thought it was kind of appropriate regarding today’s “Pluggers” so I thought I’d go ahead and post it anyhow!
GretchensMom I seriously doubt that was David’s fault. Along with the avatar problem, multiple postings are a problem as well. If you don’t come back and check you’ll never know that happened to you.
Oh, there are still pay phones around; down here in Texas, they have them at every gas station, 7-11, library, municipal building…
The last time I saw a telephone BOOTH, though, was back when I was in school… I was at First Baptist Academy, and one of the church buildings had an actual telephone booth built into the wall, door and everything.
There are still pay phones about, but very few and far between.
I’m sure they still have them in plugger country!
I’ve seen people have problems on laptops with the touch pad. I don’t see much of a problem here at Gocomics with double posting.
