Must be Superrhino. The sight line from the scale’s readout to his eyes goes through his belly.

    I don’t think I’ve ever seen a skinny rhino.

With a rhino’s eyesight it doesn’t matter if he has line of sight anyway. He uses one of those talking scales.

A group of rhinos isn’t a herd of rhinos. It’s a crash of rhinos – and with their eyesight that makes a lot of sense.

Silly comic, a plugger would never even own a digital scale.

You would think the big “Boy, I really need to go on a diet!” tip-off moment would have come a whole lot earlier due to the fact that he can’t see directly down to the scale below him due to the size of his stomach … and not waiting for the “error” message he gets just seconds before that poor scale dies for good!

Regarding yesterday’s comic, I just left the following message there that some of you might be interested in.

Gary Brookins and all other interested parties:

“The Verse By The Side Of The Road: The Story Of The Burma-Shave Signs And Jingles” by Frank Rowsome is currently available in p/b form at Amazon.com for $11.25 (there are also several used copies available on eBay too).
