Most interesting. Just today (Monday) I mowed my leaves into tiny shreds. Going to leave them on the lawn for the season’s rains and snow to disolve them into the ground. No raking or bagging, plus the lawn gets fertilized for the price of a little gas in the lawnmower. EASY, TOO.

Pluggers like (nearly) free mulch! And it’s better than bagging it up and sending it to the landfill.

My plugger uses a bag on his mower, then puts the shredded up leaves on the mulch pile.

Works for me, but I put the mulch cover on the mower.

I’m not afraid to admit it….growing up I had 2 acres to mow; I always kept the blade sharp cuz I was too durn lazy to rake the yard. ;)

best thing for your trees is to do what the plugger in this cartoon is doing. The trees need the nutrients in the leaves to go back into the soil.
