Suspenders and a belt

My dad was only an electrical engineer. He wore the suspenders without the belt. He had a few pretty garish ones, too.

Yeah, I didn’t get it at first either. The only time I use suspenders is when I wear the tux…

Even though I know suspenders and a belt together is considered rather “uncouth” and “not hip” and “not trendy”…. I happen to like the look on myself…. and wear both together regularly. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++I must be a true plugger! I even wear a hat like that fellow too! But, Mr. Brookins needs to get back to drawing the older, male pluggers with moustaches and beards… most of us wear them too, because it is easier and more convenient.

I should have known that, as the resident Plugger here used to dress thusly. That was before I joined Weight Watchers and we BOTH lost weight.
