Um, that;s because some of our meds like to “surprise” us at random hours. If the seating arrangement is also a short distance from the buffet, that’s a perfect day!
I remember a few years ago, I took my wife out to dinner at an exclusive (read outrageously over priced) restaurant for an anniversary dinner! It was so friggen dark in the place, I had to take the menu out to the men’s room to get enough light to read it!

We usually read the paper while dining, so we need the seat by the window for the extra light. Close to the restrooms is a bonus.
