Pretty much whenever I can’t find something, its because I put it someplace safe.

That’s because you’ve gotten tired of being accused of not listening to her.

She obviously knows he will not know where the hairbrush is.

It’s the anxiety in not knowing if there will be a test later!

Or the dear lady keeps answering you when you’re talking to yourself, of course.

I recently read as we get older if we can’t remember where our keys are, not something to worry about. If we can’t remember what keys are for it’s time to worry.

My husband never can hear what I say, which is a blessing at times. . . .

Clearly he suffers from a listening problem, not a hearing problem.
