Poncho: I still have time to confess my sins. Poncho: You're getting Santa and Jesus mixed up again. Poncho: Which one was invented by Coca-Cola? Chazz: Look, why can't you just be a good dog, whether it's for eternal reward or a new doggy bed? Poncho: You got me a new doggy bed? Chazz: No, I - urr - ! Just be good for the next three days, okay??
The connection between Coca-Cola and Santa Claus is that Coke’s enormously-popular and long-running Santa advertizing series is responsible for the tradition that Santa’s suit is red and white (Coca-Cola’s signature colors). Prior to Coke’s campaign, there was no particular color scheme for Santa’s suit.
