Boomer: Oh boy, the birds are coming back soon!
Poncho: Yeah! I can't wait to get back to chasing them around and barking our heads off!
Poncho: Hey, what's this?
Today’s gag is poorly developed. The birds don’t need a “Trojan Bird” to attack the dogs outside. The “Trojan Bird” should have been used to get inside the Pooch cafe.

To all Calvin and Hobbes readers:
GoComics has contacted me this past week, and they have requested that I provide a link to their comic strip archive every time that I post a comic strip here in the future, in order to help them generate more revenue.
I am concerned that GoComics is struggling financially, and I would like to encourage all of you to consider upgrading to a GoComics Pro membership, for 99 cents a month, if you can afford it. It is a real bargain.
By purchasing a Pro membership, you will no longer have to view the pop-up ads on GoComics, and you will receive several other benefits. For a list of the Pro benefits, please click on the link below. To upgrade to a Pro membership, click on the link below and then scroll down to click on “Upgrade Now.”

I would also like to encourage everyone to visit the GoComics archives frequently. Every time you click on a GoComics page, or return to your current GoComics page, or refresh a page, or click on an ad, you are helping GoComics to obtain more advertising revenue.
Thank you very much for your consideration. We all receive a lot of benefit from this site, and we all have a stake in its financial success. Please do as much as you can to help GoComics.
Please feel free to share this information with other GoComics readers who do not post on Calvin and Hobbes.

I will go along with that sentiment, been a PRO since I started here in 2008.* WELL WORTH THE INVESTMENT! 99 cents a month!* Can’t beat that! And even if they raise the price, it wouldn’t be by much, and it would still be worth it.
“Then Lancelot, Galahad, and I leap out of the [bird], taking the [dogs] completely by surprize.”.Of course, it may not be a “Trojan Bird”, but merely a bird fortress, or even just a “robotic bird” made of sticks and string.
Blest Sunday afternoon everyone._________@dalbono: I believe you are correct._________EVERYONE: Dry and Dusty makes a very valid point. I am a Pro member. If you truly enjoy reading and commenting of these comics, please, consider a Pro membership. In today’s world at 99 cents it is a bargain. If I weren’t a Pro member I would have to either subscribe to the local newspaper or buy the weekly editions at a store. A Sunday paper alone would cost me at least $1.25 each week. If GoComics needs to raise the monthly membership price, I would gladly pay $1.99 or even $2.99 per month. It would still be a bargain.________Be well my friends.

I agree with dalbino83 … despite its Trojan-ness (and YAY for baddawg1989 making an Astyanax reference!!!), it feels very wicker-man.
