I knew a husky with mismatched eyes. One was blue, I don’t remember exactly what the other was.

Dogs are by no means color blind. But their vision strongly favors blue and yellow. Look at agility competitions. Blue and yellow for obstacles where the nature of the obstacle needs to be seen. Red and white and something like a par to jump must be seen. The red appears black in contrast to the white.

I believe huskies also shed and regrow their entire coats daily.
