I live in a neighborhood where the houses are attached. My neighbor had a cat (actually it was the sister of my cat) who was an indoor/outdoor cat . Mine was strictly indoor after a fight with another cat led to an infection). Patches (her cat) would sometimes have trouble getting in her house, so one time (after that semi-often) I ran the doorbell for her. When her owner asked who was there I answered Patches. She came and opened the door laughing. She did get used to it.
Anybody here see the movie “Strays”? The smart dog (a border collie) tries to teach the other dogs about knock-knock jokes, but every time she says “knock knock” they just start barking their heads off.
(Very funny movie, but too many jokes about pooping and hump ing.)
Reminds me of a story where a guy set-up The Clapper for his Christmas lights. He worked late shifts so when his dog would bark the lights came on. Freaking out the dog so it would bark turning off the lights. Constant barking all night. Neighbors complained about the noise.
