I wonder what she’s writing. It’s not like she’d have any idea what those words mean! And a dictionary wouldn’t help her spell chronology – she’d probably look under ‘K’…

I still don’t understand how you are supposed to use a dictionary to look up the spelling of a word. If you don’t know how the word is spelled, how do you find it in the dictionary?

not, that’s easy, you simply look in the dictionary for a word you can spell which means the same thing as the one you were looking for.
