Better grades or:

1. No makeup2. No boys3. Grounded4. Mother dresses you every morning.

She’ll turn around quick.

Good parenting?? Any parenting??

How can she be on the track team if she consistently gets Fs?

That late is too late.

Simple solution. Jeri would be embarrassed to tears if she was held back a grade or two because she didn’t pass. If, suddenly, Tina was in the same grade as her, Jeri would suddenly get motivated.

That worked very well when I was in school in the 50’s and 60’s.

$$$ is the only reason ANYONE works. One time, years ago, I made the comment at work that if it wasn’t for the money I wouldn’t even bother to come in there. One of my co-workers remarked that NO ONE would be there if it wasn’t for the money. Put me in my place. and very true for probably 99% of all of us. There are exceptions for almost everything.
