I knew a couple who had a daughter with bright red, curly hair. They refused to brush her hair because they “didn’t want to lose the curls”. The child always went around with super-messy hair. She would be an adult now; I sometimes wonder if she ever learned how to brush her hair.

This must have been prior to Stick’s development of allergies, I spy a cat.
