Mitt Romney did not strap his dog to the top of his car. He had a specially designed animal carrier attached via several anchor points. This carrier is designed for large dogs to travel safely and in comfort. The fact is that there was no room for the dog in the car, so he bought the carrier. As usual the truth isn’t as much fun as mud slinging.
