At least Weiner is going down in flames. Elliot Spitzer looks to be cruising to victory against his opponent, Scott Stringer. Both are typical NYC liberals. The difference is at least Stringer is qualified and wants to use the office of Comptrollet to do the things it is meant to do, such as audit city agencies. Spitzer wants to use the city’s $140 billion in pension assets as a personal slush fund.
