So say people who claim to be against Government over-reach and bureaucracy.
And of course, the same people also believe in ignoring the law when it is broken by people like Donald Trump.
We should have as much mercy on them as they are willing to give poor, desperate people who come here without that bureaucrat’s piece of paper.

Now, ofcourse, I disagree with critique of border protection. (Also, while I have opposd tarriffs, I must admit they are working and revealing how unfairly American goods are taxes overseas.)
Santa is an exception however. He has a worldwide passport issued by the department of magic and you cant place a tariff on santa’s rewards for good boys and girls.
Father Christmas and his counterparts deliver on different days according to folklore; the “Santa delivers all over the world in one night” thing is an oversimplification. (And for authenticity, Saint Nick should be Turkish.Different from the Light Elf raised, & hybrid, Kris Kringle.)
Why his technology uses molecular recombination to manufacture what he needs. So he is richer than anyone can be and older too. And most of all happier.
Santa is far beyond all that. He really doesn’t use a sleigh either. But he does make some personal visits. Something about manipulating the space-time-vug continuum and instant transmat capability.
