If you are lazy you can omit it since EL will have a subject after it and ÉL will not and then you can pick which one it is based on context
The issue is that AFAIK it is not the first choice when speaking. “Indicando” translates to “Indicating”. “Implicando” (Implying) might also work…
BTW I understand that it is a comic and the correctness is not the main point…
“Afirmando” is a strange choice here though valid. “Indicando” could be a better one.
Not necessarily, monosyllabic words usually do not have accents. This is a case were both are ok and it depends on the region.
