    And you are how old?

  2. over 7 years ago on Pot-Shots

Earth can’t be flat. Otherwise, cats would have pushed everything off the edge.

  3. over 7 years ago on Phil Hands

I don’t think it makes any difference. They were both very nasty, to say the least.

When my sister was about that age, she came home from playing with a neighbor kid and told Mom, “I know all about the birds and the bees now. The birds sing and the bees sting.” Mom breathed a big sigh of relief. :-)

  5. over 7 years ago on Pickles

Well, you can tell how long ago this was, ‘cause my Dad would pick up the phone and say, "It’s your nickel, start talking."

  6. over 7 years ago on Baldo

When we lived in San Diego in the mid ‘60s, we had home delivery. There’s something special about milk out of glass bottles, just seems to taste better.

  7. almost 8 years ago on Pearls Before Swine

Actually, yes to both of them, but not at the same time or on the same pizza.

  8. almost 8 years ago on Mike Luckovich

Just out of curiosity (and because someone mentioned it on a blog I read), does anyone here remember the Maginot Line? And how well it worked for France?

  9. almost 8 years ago on Flo and Friends

Spam sales are always good here in Hawaii and on Guam as well.

And I can remember one year (1945?) when Mom cross-hatched the whole can of Spam and put cloves in the intersections just as you do with ham and baked it. With some green beans and sweet potatoes, it was a pretty good meal.

  10. almost 8 years ago on From the Mo Willems Sketchbook

I enjoy your sketches, but my favorites are the ones you do of people. You always seem to capture them in a way that shows their character. So thank you and Happy Holidays.
