    Hey, Ushindi- There are things that are wrong regardless of how or whether they affect you personally. Rape is one of those things. Raping a 13-year-old certainly doesn’t make it more acceptable.

    I’d have to look it up to be sure about the details, but BD isn’t career army: He was drafted in the early 70s during the Viet Nam War; some time later became a reservist; and was called up for the 1993 invasion of Baghdad.

    Is he better than McCain? I considered long and hard voting for a Republican for federal office for the first time in my life solely because I wasn’t sure Mr. Obama would follow through on his campaign pledges to restore the rule of law and I thought Mr. McCain’s personal experiences would incline him to do so.
