The long-time vinyl lovers don’t digitally remove hiss, crackles, and pops from their vinyl recordings, because they don’t sample, at a high or low sample rate. Everything is analog, front to back. With vinyl in good condition and clean, and a good musical chain from cartridge to speakers, those sorts of noises are not major problems. Of course, those long-time vinyl lovers are also often using equipment (front to back) that is acoustically (and financially) well beyond that $700 receiver and its accompaniment. People used to the quality of sound coming from mp3s played through earbuds or PC type powered speakers would likely be amazed at what comes out of an audiophile level system, but even the best vinyl playing out through those speakers would sound no better than the mp3…
