Rookie! I think I’ve been through the LOTR books over 30 times now. I read them over each year. I’ve also read the Silmarillion several times and need to do that again soon.

I used to have those dreams. They stopped around the times I started having dreams that my toddler ran off in a parking lot, I couldn’t catch her, and she got ran over and killed by a car.

So this is why my 4 year old has Lyme’s disease?

  4. almost 3 years ago on Rudy Park

I find it hilarious that he thinks tragedy of the commons for private roads when that applies quite well to public roads.

  5. over 3 years ago on Gasoline Alley

Masks as a swimming costume that water boarded away the human race… Hilarious. Sadly there are people I know so bought into mask madness they probably would wear one into a pool.

  6. over 5 years ago on Baldo

My wife and I have been watching it on Netflix. It’s annoying how political its been.

  7. almost 6 years ago on Close to Home

    You’re correct.

  8. about 10 years ago on Lisa Benson

There are a lot of conservatives who think we are getting far to close to a police state and that privacy rights need support.

  9. over 10 years ago on Stone Soup International Sundays

I don’t know where the author of Stone Soup lives, but having grown up in northern Wisconsin, August was the only part of summer where the lakes were warm enough for swimming in (they had just melted in April or May). If this is set in northern WI or MI or MN or ND August it makes perfect sense.

Now if only we humans could master the concept of delayed gratification maybe we wouldn’t have $8K in credit card debt (the average household has that much).
