   While the definition of mulatto is a child with one Black parent and one White parent, the word is derived from mule—the product of mixing a horse and a donkey. And mulatto is just as much a stupid racial designation as any other term—even more so.

   It always cracks me up how people insert the President’s middle name, as if it’s supposed to elicit a reaction. If, in the near future, someone commits a heinous act, and that person’s last name happens to be the same as your middle name, would you change it?

   Self-identity is one of the biggest “teenage situations” around. Lack of identity and/or self worth is a primary reason for substance abuse, suicide, and other problems teens face. Perhaps more teens today should be concerned about social issues rather than what Snooki is up to.

   1.) Traditionally, the word doesn’t have an ‘h.’2.) Most Black people (most people in general) don’t use the word.3.) In my opinion, people who use the word probably don’t have a reluctance to use the original word.
