I'm busy with too many things, so Dick Tracy is the only strip I read regularly these days.

I’m not sure that he knows about his son’s problems. His reaction is in response to Tracy addressing him by his family’s original name. I think it’s fairly safe to assume that he had hoped to no longer have people associate him with the family member who worked for Hitler in the past.

I think that nearly every story is slow when it’s split into daily chunks. We’ve become a culture that routinely watches an entire season of a TV show in one day. We’ve forgotten how to read in small daily installments if we ever knew.

    Good morning™, everyone!

Yes, it has come to that. The past that he was trying to hide has now become known.

It sounds like a huge crowd is gathering if food carts are selling food. I suppose the attendance of the governor is a big event.

They are on their way, all four of them together. Confrontation at the Totten Building coming right up!

Probably. As I recall, his last status was a little ambiguous.

It might be a time for “Thumper’s Law” from Disney’s Bambi: “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say nothing at all.” There is a place for constructive criticism, but beating yourself up constantly isn’t going to do you much good.

I think this is actually a pretty good story, but it depends on what happens from here on.

Sam may not have heard of Boche, but Tracy knows very well who that was.

Pruneface died in the August 6th, 1999, strip, but it’s good to see a reference to him.

A didn’t remember that the 1942 story referenced the Seilla Company. Maybe I’ve never read the whole thing.
