I've loved comics since I was a kid. Sunday comics were my favorite because, WAY back then, they were four pages of the newspaper and more colorful than the coupon pages. I follow comics that are well-written or well-drawn. If both are true, that's just bonus. I appreciate people's comments about the comics or my added nonsense. I learn a lot from my fellow comic freaks. You're a randy bunch. Oh, and the avatar is just some image someone sent me sometime a while back. I have no idea who the dog is. It just cracked me up.

What’s the last thing to go through a bug’s mind when it hits a windshield? It’s butt.

My question is, how do you look at a bowl of oatmeal and think it’s mashed potatoes? Earl, I’m gonna give you three words I’ll ask you for in a couple of minutes.

At my second engineering job with a big corporation: Day 1 – “There will be no layoffs.” Day 30 – Fifteen percent of the workforce laid off. Day 60 – “The company is not closing down this branch facility.” Day 75 – “You can apply for a job at the main facility 700 miles away or quit.” Day 90 – “This office space for rent or lease.”

Several years ago, I heard a comedian explain the difference between R and PG-13 ratings. In an R-rated movie, an actor can touch a woman’s breast. In a PG-13 movie, an actor cannot touch a woman’s breast, but he can cut it off with a chainsaw.
