    I feel like the original poster has never heard of paying off a mortgage instead of selling. If you do that, you don’t have a monthly payment at all anymore, because you… well… own the house.

    Not to mention that renting a house of the size we own would run ~$400 more per month than the mortgage does.

    One mention, though… Chrome has a little known problem in that it renders some colors incorrectly (like actually reading the hex codes wrong somehow). Though the last I checked on that problem was about 6 months ago, so maybe they finally fixed it.

    Since I kind of hate cell phone alerts, I recorded myself sighing and use that. The ring tone, however, is Ghostbusters. Though I don’t hear it much because I only give people my landline number (which just rings).

    The difference is that nobody thinks dogs can really talk, but lots of people think dogs are colorblind. Hence, the false information is propagated. (Though I did also chuckle while simulataneously saying “Gasp! Someone on the Internet is wrong!”)

    I’d say it’s more because what Gunther’s talking about is pretty darn similar to what Quill is currently doing in the U.S.

    Well, at schools in Colorado at any rate, valedictorians generally have to have GPAs well over 4.0. Typically close to 4.5 or even better, I believe. This is achieved via a lot of Honors classes (which are worth 5.0 for an A). As such, to get valedictorian, the students also have to manage their schedules to take as few classes as possible that “only” give 4.0s.

    Only odd thing about the last few strips… Luann mentioned their 12 year friendship, but didn’t Rosa just show up like last year (in comic time, anyway)?
