I hate to say, but even though I agree with you completely, you are going to eliminate almost all of the population with that kind of feeling. So you’re saying as a Mormon, his beliefs are nuts, but a good Christian who believes in an all powerful god who is allows all of these atrocities in the world is not?

You’re right… They aren’t taliban as that is specific to their goup. We’ll just remember the inquisition, crusades, witch burning, child molestation through the ages…. Should I go on?

Because the good Christians in history have never done such a terrible thing, right? And of course they have stopped now, well except for the raping of children and such…. That probably shouldn’t count cause they were forgiven…..

Oh and given the opportunity you’re saying you wouldn’t dismantle their religion? Hmmmmm….

Waaaay too far overboard here buckaroo. I may think there are a whole lot of idiots who are repubs, and obviously some very smart guys as their marketing to the people they don’t support at all is amazing. However, now you cross the line. Advocating that anyone who doesn’t think the same way as you should be shot? Seems that was tried before, although not with bullets as they were too expensive…

And on top of it you give the dems a very bad name, and we don’t need that….

Really? Are you trying to act like you are 10? If you have read through the comments here and still can’t figure out why them you might want to forget the acts and go back to school for reading…. When has there been a problem with illegal immigrants voting? List one documented case…

Your argument is pretty pathetic. Yes, you cannot get into school without a birth certificate – something which is provided free and is not a photo ID. State or federal program, correct, you need. Birth certificate, see statement 1, SSI, SSDI, need BC, again, statement1… Bank account – really? Yeah real constitutionally covered right there….

On a few side notes… For those who keep b$txhing that GT forgot ‘this incident’ and ‘that incident’ seriously?? By that logic no political cartoonist could ever post a strip ever.

As to those still complaining about how GT is so often left in his commentary, again, really?? You must not be the brightest bulb. That’s like complaining that rush is being right wing again, or that the sky is blue. Seems more like restating the obvious, which is useless and irrelevant.

And for those still on about the birth certificate …Www.mittromneyisaunicorn.com

Oh, and ldstrain… Yeah, it’s a common joke. However, there’s been no cases of it in about 30+ years. It was a big complaint when Rizzo got in. Nothing since. Just makes for a good joke. Social commentary does not equal facts

    Oh where to begin….

An amendment is just that – a change to th constitution. Which means all of what you posted are constitutional rights. That means the constitution absolutely guarantees the right to vote….

Now if we follow your logic, then one of two options applies…1) none of the amendments are really constitutional rights and therefore your favorite, the second, also goes away, so I’ll have those guns now. Or2) your long post is completely irrelevant and wrong

Amm 24 as you pointed out says you cannot have a poll tax. Requiring an ID that you must pay for is the same thing and that is the issue with the laws…

Not in pa… Not that I’ve heard… So no, not yet

It’s the GOP that’s trying to get rid of the constitution. See my previous post. Voting without requiring payment is protected by the constitution and you are trying to force all people to purchase an ID to vote. That is unconstitutional.

Driving is not a right protected by the constitution. Many banks are just requiring a fingerprint to cash a check. Want to try again? Requiring someone pay to vote, regardless of how, is unconstitutional. Why is it you can’t get that through your heads? If picture id was given free in every state with no restrictions I’d be all for it. Until then….
