   A totally excellent post as usual from a moderate poster such as yourself!

   The only thing that practical point I would add, is that any large group of people where they are likely to get emotional about issues should have the same kind of security as boarding an airplane does. Searching of bags, metal detectors, and any other means should be used to keep lethal weapons out of the hands of those that might use them for violence against others. This is not enfringing upon the freedom to agree or disagree with one another in any way.

   It might also help if certain candidates would not preach violence aainst others that disagree with their relative extreme viewpoints!

   Possibly true, at least to some extent, but HRC is still probably going to be the Democratic POTUS candidate. Although I do hope that she will choose the dynamic Bernie Sanders as her running mate!

   At any rate, she can certainly be trusted far more than ANY of the Republican candidates (and that goes double for Donald Trump)!!

   The only possible Republican candidate that would even stand a chance is John Kasich, but because of the extreme conservatives in the Republican party, he stands about as much of a chance of being the Republican POTUS nominee as did Jon Huntsman, pity really!!

   Has anyone actually done any real statistical research on how the percentage of active pedophile Catholic Priests compares with the percentage of active pedophiles within the general population?

   I am neither saying yay or nay here, one way or the other, but am actually interested in such results. Perhaps it would be better to at least know the truth, before condemning the Catholic Church itself.

   By the way, while being a Christian, I am not only not a member of the Catholic Church itself, but also not a member of any organized religion, Christian or not.

   That is your opinion, but many of we more moderate conservatives, as well as liberals hope the American people have a different one.

   Frankly, I would rather even have somebody that does not even want the bloody job, some one similar to Neil Degrasse Tyson. But, he would rather remain a very terrific spokesman for, intelligence, education, and science!!
