I do agree with that. I guess I was thinking in the literal deifinition of the word episkopos in the greek which is “a man charged with the duty of seeing that things to be done by others are done rightly, any curator, guardian or superintendent the superintendent, elder, or overseer of a Christian church” which to me means as you said feeding the sheep the Word CORRECTLY. But also I see the job title of pastor as different from other people. People want to make their pastor the mini god of the church but I see him as more of a manager.
Pastors don’t want to send you to hell… I dunno what kind of preaching you have heard but it sounds highly strange lol. Besides even if they wanted to no one person has the power to send another to heaven or hell except yourself so I guess you can walk away from anyone TRYING to “send you to hell” and know you are the person in charge of your own fate, so it doesn’t matter anyway.
Makes me think of Lisbeth Salander… she hates men who hate women because her mother was abused. Perhaps Ox has seen enough of his friends/family hurt and he’s just done with it all.
